- The free version of the product is
not supported
- Must hit <Enter> to submit values
typed in a text field.
- When the server is running in GUI
mode, execution at the client side may block if there is an error
pop-up at the server side (such as server password not having been
set.) Acknowledging the pop-up notification resumes operation.
- On the Windows
platform, when the application starts, pop-up screen may read
"Another instance of the application may be running" even though
the process list does not show another BackupSW application. What the application
detects is the server port for RMI Registry not being free. This
may result from abnormal termination of the application.
- Log file locks may
not be removed -- BackupSW*.log.lck.
- Successive, rotating log files
sets may not be created on some platforms.
- After Full backup, old archive files may
not be removed on some platforms.
- For operations across the network, execution
blocks on read lock failure - fixed in version 3.2
- Windows XP support started with version 3.1
